A few weeks ago, we got a sneak peek at the upcoming Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ and saw how its slim design stacks up against the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge. Now, new information has emerged revealing the key specs of the Hot 60 Pro+, especially its impressive battery capacity.
The Hot 60 Pro+ packs a 5,160 mAh battery, which is quite remarkable given its slim 5.95mm thickness. To put that in perspective, the Galaxy S25 Edge is even slimmer at 5.8mm but comes with a smaller 3,900 mAh battery. Not only that, the Hot 60 Pro+ weighs less too — just 154.6 grams compared to the Galaxy’s 163.8 grams.
It’s believed that Infinix has used Silicon-Carbon battery technology to fit a larger battery into a thinner frame than the Galaxy S25 Edge. On top of that, the Hot 60 Pro+ is expected to offer faster charging speeds than its predecessor, the Hot 50 Pro+, which charges at 33W. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S25 Edge supports only 25W charging.
Looking at the display, the Hot 60 Pro+ will have a curved screen with a resolution of 2400x1080 pixels and a centered punch-hole housing a 13MP front camera. Around the back, it sports a primary 50MP sensor for photography.
Under the hood, the phone — with model number X6886 — is confirmed to come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, though other variants might be announced later. It runs on XOS 15.1.0 and is powered by the Helio G200 Ultimate chipset from MediaTek.
Interestingly, MediaTek introduced the Helio G200 recently, and Tecno’s Spark 40 series, launching globally in July, will be the first to use this chip. However, sources say the Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ is also set to launch in July, so it’s a close race to see who brings the Helio G200-powered phone to market first.
