Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro 12.5 Fully Revealed Ahead of Launch

Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro

Xiaomi’s upcoming large-format tablet, the Pad 7S Pro 12.5, has been completely exposed before its official launch. Thanks to WekiHome’s teardown and Digital Chat Station’s gaming tests, we now have a clear picture of what this powerful tablet has to offer.

🧠 Performance & Chipset

At its core, the Pad 7S Pro is powered by Xiaomi’s custom-built Xring O1 processor, a significant step as the brand moves into developing its own chipsets. It’s paired with a massive 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of ultra-fast Samsung UFS 4.1 storage.

🔥 Gaming and Battery Life

Performance enthusiasts will be impressed — in tests, the tablet handled Genshin Impact at max settings for over 7 hours while maintaining a stable 60fps. A large 10,610mAh battery supports 120W HyperCharge, and you also get 7.5W reverse charging for topping up smaller devices in a pinch.

🖼️ Display Quality

The display is a standout feature: a 12.5-inch IPS LCD panel with a sharp 3200×2136 resolution and a 3:2 aspect ratio, refreshing up to 144Hz. Real-world tests showed a brightness of 584 nits, peaking at 827 nits, making it perfect for both indoor and outdoor use.

📷 Camera Setup

On the back, there's a single 50MP f/1.8 camera with the SKJN1 sensor, while the front gets a 32MP f/2.2 shooter using an OV32D sensor — great for video calls and selfies. The back also features a bold XRING logo beside the camera module.

💻 Design & Accessories

The Pad 7S Pro is crafted from metal, measures just 5.8mm in thickness, and weighs only 576g, giving it a premium and sleek profile. Xiaomi will also offer a floating keyboard with a glass touchpad and adjustable stand, much like Apple’s Magic Keyboard. Additionally, a stylus will be available for creative users.

🎨 Colors and Launch

Available in four colors — beige, blue, black, and purple — the Pad 7S Pro 12.5 is expected to launch very soon. With top-tier specs, custom silicon, and powerful productivity tools, it could be a serious competitor to the iPad Pro.
